Jack beats two-time champion Dean Heil

NAPLES, Italy, January 5 — At the first-ever NCAA college wrestling match held outside of North America, No. 3 Oklahoma State (6-0) handed No. 5 North Carolina State (10-1) their first loss of the season with a 19-16 victory Friday in Naples, Italy at the Naples Naval Base.

Danbury senior Kevin Jack (141) helped the Wolfpack with a 4-3 decision over two-time national champion Dean Heil. Jack (13-1) got a takedown with 15 seconds left in the match to take the lead for good. … The latest New England Wrestling Association (NEWA) individual rankings have been released.
