It’s Conference Championship Saturday around the state with six leagues hosting conference tournaments. Here is a quick rundown on how to get information about each of the tournaments.

Berkshire Valley Tournament
At Gilbert-Winsted
Live brackets: None
Notable: Gilbert (26-3) is the favorite to win their second straight Berkshire Valley Tournament. The tournament includes teams from the Berkshire League and the Naugatuck Valley League. Northwestern’s Angelo Folino is looking to become the first wrestler to win four Berkshire Valley Tournament titles.

Eastern Connecticut Conference

Southern Connecticut Conference

Notable: No. 8 Xavier is the defending SCC champion. The Falcons soundly beat Foran on Wednesday to win the SCC Division I title. Xavier has won six of the last seven SCC Tournaments.

NCCC Tournament
At Granby

Notable: Canton needs to win finish first or second to win first league title since 2002. Canton has won the last two NCCC Tournament titles.

Southwest Conference Tournament
At New Fairfield

Notable: Newtown (5-0) won the SWC Colonial title with Joel Barlow (5-0) capturing the SWC Patriot title. … New Milford is the defending SWC Tournament champion. They handily beat Joel Barlow last year, 249½ to 141. … Newtown’s last SWC Tournament win came in 2015. Barlow has never won the SWC Tournament.
