INDIANA, Pa., April 7 – For the second consecutive year, Danbury’s Jakob Camacho is a FloNationals All-American. Camacho went 5-0 to win the 126-pound weight class at the national-caliber tournament at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania campus.
Camacho won the title with a 11-3 win over Angelo Martinoni of Orangevale, CA. Martinoni was the only wrestler to get a reversal on Camacho in the tournament. Camacho gave up 21 points and 19 were escapes.
Camacho had 21 takedowns in his five victories, including eight in his first match of the tournament. Camacho will wrestle at North Carolina State next winter.
Camacho was second at 120 in the 2017 Flo Nationals tournament.
