A team of Connecticut wrestlers participated in USA Wrestling’s 14U Freestyle National Duals tournament in Oaks, Pennsylvania on June 14-15.
Teams compete with 18 weight classes ranging from 71 pounds to 257 pounds.
Connecticut went 2-3 in their initial pool bouts on Friday and went 0-4 on Saturday in their pool bouts to finish 24th overall out of 40 teams in the tournament.
Pennsylvania Blue won their second straight 14U freestyle National Duals title with a 50-27 win over California in the championship match, winning 12 of 18 matches.
