MIDDLETOWN, Oct. 6, 2024 – Hundreds of young boys and girls competed in CWI’s (Connecticut Wrestling, Inc.) Fall Tournament at Xavier High in Middletown on Sunday.
Middletown’s Overcomer Training Center (OTC) finished first in the high school and middle school division and second in the 12-and-under division. OTC had five championships and seven finalists in the high school division and four champions in the middle school division.
Bridgeport’s South Side Wrestling Club won the team competition in the 10U, 8U and 6U divisions and was second in the high school division. South Side had three champions and seven finalists in the high school division.

Connecticut Wrestling, Inc. (CWI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the growth and promotion of the sport of wrestling in Connecticut. It was the first fundraising tournament by CWI since 2019.
