NEW BRITAIN, July 28, 2019 – Nicholas Arborio of Berlin won his third consecutive Nutmeg State Games championship with a victory at 149 pounds in the Open Division in competition at New Britain High School. Former Ellis Tech wrestler Baltazar Gonzalez won his second straight Nutmeg Games title at 165 pounds in the Open Division.
In the Intermediate Division (ages 13-15), Dylan Levesque (126) and Matthew DiVito (132) each won for the second time in three years. Tim Roberts (138) won a second straight Nutmeg Games title in the Scholastic Division (18 and under).
