NEW HAVEN, Dec. 1, 2018 — With seven individual champions and nine finalists, Brunswick School in Greenwich easily won the championship at the season-opening Rumble on the Hill at Hopkins School in New Haven.
The Bruins won the tournament for the third straight year with 264 points with Belmont Hill taking second with 158. Choate was third with 156½ with Avon Old Farms taking fourth (133).
Brunswick’s Chris Perry (132) was the outstanding wrestler with teammates Luca Errico (138), Nicky Bell (145), Nadji Ngbokoli (152), Harry Fett (160), Clayton Ostrover (182), and Tim Saunders (195) also winning individual titles.
William MacGillivray (106) and Dylan Reynolds (170) each finished second for the Bruins.
