Beast Training wins annual Beast Battle tournament

DANBURY, Nov. 3 – The Beast Training Wrestling Academy out of Danbury won the annual Beast Battle at the Danbury Police Athletic League (PAL) building, beating top elite youth wrestling clubs in the Northeast.

The CTWay team, the Connecticut chapter of the National United Wrestling Association for Youth, placed second with Shore Thing team from New Jersey finishing third. Teams competing in the tournament came from New Jersey, Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut and New Hampshire

Other youth wrestling clubs competing included the Doughboys from Massachusetts, Savage from Long Island, Olympic from New Jersey, Smitty Barn from New Hampshire and GPS from New York.

Weights started at 52 pounds and went up to 150 pounds for elementary and middle school athletes.

Beast Training Wrestling Academy in Danbury is an elite wrestling club for elementary, middle school and high school athletes.
