The right and opportunity to vote is a privilege that many people across the world don’t enjoy. This is our chance to choose leaders and representatives that will work for all people across our great nation. Please take the time to vote on Tuesday for the candidate of your choice.

In Connecticut, the polls are open from 6 a.m. at 8 p.m. Connecticut residents with absentee ballots must deliver them to your local town clerk by 8 p.m. on Tuesday to be counted.

According to the Connecticut Secretary of State, more than 740,000 residents took the opportunity to vote early during the early voting period (Oct. 21-Nov. 3). That’s about 32% of the state’s nearly 2.3 million registered voters, according to CTNews Junkie.com

Voters in other states should check with your respective Secretary of State office for the voting rules in your state. There are different rules for voting in different states.
