The nation’s top wrestlers, ages 7-to 14, competed in international styles of freestyle and Greco-Roman at the Legacy Event Center.

Logan Bailey finished second at 74 pounds in the 12-and-under division in Greco Roman. He lost his first match of the tournament to eventual All-American Haedyn Cochran of Indiana before ripping off five straight victories to finish second.

Bailey had three wins by technical fall and a pin. He beat eventual fifth place finisher Matthew McNulty of Idaho in the consolation semifinals, 10-2. Bailey won the consolation final by pinning Cochran in 3:34 and then won a true second place match with an 8-0 win over Wyoming’s Cade Myers.

Jaxsen Bailey finished sixth in Greco Roman at 87 pounds in the 14-and-under tournament with a record of 2-3. He won his first two matches of the tournament before losing in the semifinals to second place finisher Jeremy Carver of Indiana.

In the freestyle tournament, McGrath finished second in the 12-and-under division at 82 pounds. He beat Hunter Erdmann of Wisconsin, 10-0 in the quarterfinals and beat Arizona’s James Beltran in the semifinals, 8-5.

In the championship final, McGrath fell to New Jersey’s Julian Smith, 14-4.
