Ellis Tech’s Adelina Tate brings down Luca Marshall of Tri-County Regional in Franklin, Mass., in the semifinals at 126 pounds. Tate won the match and went onto win the New England championship.

Stratford with 42.5 pints finished fifth.  … Platt’s Kayli Morris wins third consecutive New England title. She is one of five Connecticut wrestlers to win a title. Trumbull’s Jillian Blake (120), New Britain’s Kaydence Atkinson (165) , Norwalk’s Jeily Euceda (235) and Ellis Tech’s Adelina Tate (126) also win titles. … Stamford’s Gabriella Mighty (165) got a late invitation due to a wrestler having to withdraw due to an injury. Mighty went to the finals.  Atkinston won her second New England championship.
