Newtown’s Brighton Karvoski finished second at the 25th annual Tulsa Kickoff Classic youth wrestling tournament in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Saturday, Nov. 20.
Karvoski, wrestling at 80 pounds in the 12-and-under division, had three pins in five matches. He lost 4-1 in the championship match to Jo Jo Burke of Apex but beat Justin Farnsworth of Germantown Academy in the true second place bout, 7-0.
